About this tour
Two of Mumbai's best days out, joined into one. The morning belongs to Elephanta Island: a ferry across the harbour to cave temples carved into the rock 1,500 years ago, home to the six-metre Trimurti of Shiva. The afternoon is the Gothic city: Victoria Terminus, the University, the sea front and the bazaars.
You have a private air-conditioned car and one guide from start to finish, so there's no waiting for a group and no rushing. By the evening you'll have seen more of Mumbai than most visitors manage in three days.

Our host was so warm and welcoming. The food we cooked was the best meal of our trip and I now make it at home.
